Thank you for the quick patch and release notes.  However, is 1.11 patch available on steam?  I have all auto updates enabled (can't recall seeing it autoupdate), however my game still shows versions 1.1.

From my most recent debug file:

Debug Message:  Version 1.1, Build #224, last updated on: 06-14-2015 21:34

Oh, BTW, if it matters...I was on the v1.1 Optin. The undocumented optin patches never made any change in my version/build info.  Perhaps v1.11 is not updating it as well?

Game is updating on Steam this is how you check...

  • Right click on Galactic Civilizations III on the Steam Client
  • Left click on properties.
  • Left click on the "Local Files" tab.
  • Left click on the "Browse Local Files..." option.
  • Notice the GalCiv3 application should show Date Modified 7/10/2015 (sometime in the afternoon EST).
  • Right click on that application.
  • Left click properties.
  • Left click on the "Details" tab.
  • Should show File version 1.1.10.0.

Hmmm... Just tested it and I'm not seeing any difference in turn time...  Should this have an immediate effect or would I have to start a new game to see this?

I noticed that since the update, cinematic battle no longer works and is just the same as on top.

I indeed got the update.  Thanks Seilore.

Is it possible the game your are looking at was started before 1.1? We added a new system for cinematic battles in 1.1. It is working for me and I'm wondering if it may be an old save compatibility issue.

Yeah I started a new game and it was fine

I'm a bit confused. What's the actual version number for 1.11 ?

Is it 1.1.10, 1.1.11 or 1.11.?

Currently my game EXE is 1.1.10 which I thought was the 1.1 patch, as that's what it still says in-game. Am I wrong?

There is still absolutely nothing preventing a synthetic race from taking any of the food/pop growth related traits, whether positive or negative despite this being in the patch notes since 1.10

You've really f***ed up removing items from the notification list.  After removing an item, it takes several seconds to reload itself.

I can confirm this.

I have since done the digging and implemented this in my Galactic Diversity mod.  The flag exists and works its just not implemented into the live game files.  I would ask that it be altered slightly to apply to any race that has the synthetic attribute not just the synthetic race ability in the custom race screen. Doing it the way it currently is means my other synthetic race does not apply to the restriction. Of course it takes the whole 5 trait points and is itself restricted from the synthetic race ability the other way around but if it didnt cost so much it wouldn't benefit from being restricted on growth and food traits.
