Glad you like it.

GalCiv3 doesn't read from the xml during a game. When you launch the game it reads all the available xml and creates a binary file with the information and then references that binary file during play.

Downloaded the reduced nebula.  Just what I was looking for, just when I decided the background was too bright for my custom race colors to show properly.  Very nice.  Thanks!

Strange , know several who are using in 1,03 , including me and with no problem..  Are you running any other mods?  If so check to be sure this file is not in one of them, if so you will have to combine.   Things you have most likey done/checked : is everything in the correct location?  Did you enable MODs, exit, and restart the game

No others mods. Its ok I just found the file made it all black seems to solve that issue with the star field being so annoyingly hard to read stuff when you zoom out. Now I can't see the border when placing starbases which is just annoying as ... They couldn't use gray they had to use black to show that right?

Just another example of how unpolished this game is.

Anybody know how to mod the black border around the constructor to a white border so it is visible you know during NORMAL gameplay.
