Riddle me this! How can a star have five uninhabitable planets and still be colonized!?!?!

So I was continuing a game I have as the Terran and then I spotted star with a stupid name, but I still had to scout it since it was close to Earth. At first I thought there was another star near by and I was seeing two star systems for a total of seven planets, until I looked at the names and they all had the same stupid one. But I was so happy I desided to get closer and see if there were asteroids or a anomaly, instead there was a eighth planet! So awesome. They are also strangely arranged in a swirl, if that means anything. I would like the limit of planets to be raised because of this, the game didn't crash and it was really fun to see and its making me smiling as I write this.

Crap, for some reason my save file didn't get sent (likely because I've reached my monthly data limit and it took two try's at 10 minutes each to have it finally process my ticket!) so I will have to send it when my data reloads in about a week. Sorry about the email too. the file attached said it said it wasn't compatible to the current build oddly, but it worked in my game before I put it in in the email? o_O

whatever it is that caused this anomaly to happen it will have to wait till my data comes back, or I figure out how to send a file via email while keeping it compatible, which I thought I did properly.

Sorry for my mistakes :(

Thanks! I see what you are referring too now. After discussing it with Paul, it seems like something we just need to tweak and refine, there is no hard answer on that yet.

As far the star name, c'mon Darca, he probably named it after his kids (I know I named mine after my daughter).  They'll probably be exited when he finds it.  Have a heart.

Also I can zoom just fine when over the FOW, or when most of the screens is dark. So I just move the camera to some place I haven't explored and move the camera out just far enough till everything is a icon. Never had a problem doing this.
