Issues with Confirm Battle popup

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but I have one ship ( COS Ranger M6-2 ) , being attacked by a fleet of 50 wimpy enemy ships.  Every time they attack me (every turn) I have to click that Confirm Battle button over-and-over-and-over again. My turn basically consists of clicking that button a million times every turn.

It is also very annoying that it doesn't show where the combat is taking place.

At the very least, I would like a marker on the mini map or a camera snap to the location of the battle so I can at least see where hostilities are taking place.

A Go To button would be nice. I'd also like two option: engage and escape
Engage would mean you attempt to destroy your opponent while escape means you try to elude him(only possible if you have a faster ship).

If you have a faster ship you could escape but you may take some damage depends on how fast you could outrun your opponent.

I am also seeing this problem which I have assumed is a result of the placeholder code being in the game instead of the full fledged battle code they are working on. There have been many threads that have touched on what options it will provide or what ones we would like to see, including an attempt at evasion or even an auto retreat at some damage level or ratio. So far, the responses have all been "wait and see".

Having all the same issues. Would love for it to at least go to the battle so that I can see what's happening until they get part of the final code going.

Yes, but I think we will have to be patient about this.
