Where are you all finding the xml files to edit?

Steam/Steamapps/Common/FELegendaryHeroes/Data/English.

Some core files you can edit by placing files that override them in My Documents\My Games\Legendary Heroes\Mods directory.  However this only works for some things.  See this object sanity thread by Heavenfall for more information:
