Slightly concerned about the possible reviews...

I'm really enjoying LH, but I think it's an expansion where you really need to have played the original game a lot to appreciate the differences/improvements.

I'm concerned that when it comes to the mainstream reviewers they won't have played Fallen Enchantress enough to notice the differences in LH, and this could lead to lower scores than the expansion deserves. I think the list of new features (used for marketing / game description) don't sound as impressive as they really are in practice.

This isn't a negative post - I couldn't go back to FE after playing LH (even if it is only beta), i'm just a bit worried about what the press will make of it.

thus Frogboy's obsession with shadows :ninja:

We'll have to see what comes, but we're months away from release and Frogboy's on record as saying a lot of the new content stuff (more monsters, maps, heroes, quests, etc.) aren't going in until we stress-test the beta.  I think on release LH will have a lot of content to differentiate itself.

That would be good (more monsters, heroes etc). Content is often what reviewers will judge an expansion on.
