I have trouble taking these fools seriously.
Well, this gives a bit of a suspense to the game, are they serious? are they just teasing me because I have a small army? but agreed, if they declare war I expect their armies to come for my cities
The AI loves to pick on me too. Trouble is they always get stomped because my army is efficient and strong besides being small. The AI needs some work when it comes to warfare. They don't seem like they ever want to surrender either, even when I've taken all of their out posts. It would also be nice if they declared war because they actually wanted to fight. These guys just do it for the fun of it.
I think the AI is a little too ramped up on picking on folks with small armies.
Small army should mean you're vulnerable to attack- but the AI should have a plan to take all of your cities and just roll you if it attaks, instead of attacking, having others swipe in and take the cities instead, which is what usually happens.
