[newbie question] how to build caravans and road and teleport ??

I'm a bit confused; I frequently see caravans moving (even some of them own by me) but I have no clue how to build them. ??

I also haven't been able to figure out how to buld roads. I see the [ROAD] option on pioneer and I click it and a circle forms but I don't see how to actually complete the road with an end point... ??

I also couldn't seem to get the teleport army spell to work. either I didn't know how to click or something. The army was in opposition terrority and I was trying to teleport it to a city that was about to be attack I would cast the spell but when I click on a location I owened the army wouldn't teleport (and no error message; I tried both right and left button for clicking destination)

 

Last but least are these things actually explained somewhere I should be looking (and hence less newbie questions) ?

Economic Treaties create roads and caravans between Capital cities.

The Trade tech creates roads between all your cities, the Economics tech creates roads to all your outposts.

By teleport, you mean the Cloud spell, correct?  If you have more than one unit that can cast this, after clicking on it you'll need to click the portrait of the unit you want to cast it, and then click Cast.  Then you click on a location in your territory.  (Watch for occupied squares.  It's best to click outside buildings, and then move into the city, if that's what you want to do.)  That unit and the other units it's traveling with will teleport.  I've never seen it fail.

Ok thanks; when i cast it i don't remember seeing a portrait but will try again as soon as I have the spell (again - in a new game). Weird thing I have like 7 heroes and not one of them know air magic :( very upsetting.

If you're playing against Pariden, try trading in mid-game for an air book.

 

Or just move a champion onto that territory, and Shop.  In theory, that should work.
