I'm with Liz - Apple IIe December 1982, about the same price as I recall.  Two (TWO!) 5.25 floppies.

My first PC was an IBM Aptiva desktop from 1997.  I don't know the specs, as I was only 10 at the time.  The hard drive was SO "GRINDINGLY" LOUD compared to today's more efficient machines.  Not to mention it got super hot within an hour. It definitely did not have efficient cooling.

First owned was a commodore 64.. but worked with appleI, appleII, and quite a few older models, love them punch cards..  :S

 

Still have the commodore in my closet, (minus the monitor)

i also had a commodore 64 mainly to play and from there till today there was a lot of old hardware that ended up in the trash but my commodore is still there ^^
