Random Demigod Status Questions

Well, its been over a month since I've last played DG.  What's going on?  Who is still playing?  Are there competitive games to be had (what you might consider tier 1 games)?  Anything new going on?  Any up and coming players that you've noticed?  Outside of popping in and out of the forums, I'm a bit in the dark and curious about the latest stuff.  I've been teaming up quite a bit with sarmis (old dg player) and his pals in lol lately.  We have more than a few times discussed and wished having a rook in lol.

edit - and since the server relocation (remember that 12 day outage where you couldn't play DG outside of SP or on game ranger?), have you noticed any new CONSISTENT issues with stats or this or that?

What's going on?  Who is still playing? 

It's pretty much the same as far as EU mid/pro people are concerned, plus sazonov/yellow_belly/particle is actively back, as is moondust. Oh, johnkout/TSK-knockout is also on frequently now. It's not an issue at all to get a couple of interesting balanced skilled games every evening, but I won't call them T1. 

 

Are there competitive games to be had (what you might consider tier 1 games)?

Hmm... Well, nnnils is around a lot, Zen and Shane show up frequently, too. Otherwise, no real T1s out there (though I got significantly better lately, and that moondust guy is pretty close to T1 from what I've seen of his Rook). We've played a couple of nice mirror matches the day before yesterday nnnils/IN1/sazonov vs Zen/Jona/Quincrane (or was that Demibug? :blush: ).

No real new players (though I'm not the authority here), but quite a few old-timers coming back.

Yes, more connection issues (for example, Majongo cannot connect to Quincrane under any conditions); stats do not get recorded if players other than the host leave.
