When looking at friends status while in game:

1) Online - means the person is on the forums

2) In Demigod - means the person has Demigod loaded, be they in a lobby, in a game or just alt tabbed.

But I was wondering why morpheas was always online and yet he never replied.

Thanks magnus!  I had no clue :P.  Thought online meant waiting for a game.  Why would they have an online status when they cant even receive the messages makes no sense.

It's a generalized messaging system (at least in theory). It shows you as online whenever you are logged in with your Impulse account. Be it on the Forum, in Impulse or Ready To Play. Accordingly, it also shows which game you are currently running.

It is of course misleading for any new user, since this messaging system is only used in Demigod anyway.
