So I have been a long politcal leader in the statement that TB + Reg + anything = fail. Orcun and I have tried in the past to win a game with this set up and failed and we tried again today. You can see the results here:

Now, I know we would of won if we would have been our respective oaks, ub, rooks, sednas. Imo this replay prooves the uselessness of a reg + tb + anyone team.

actually I have won a few games with Reg/QoT/TB not alot but a hand full where my damn teammates actually talked

I was gonna try TB + Reg + another TB, but sadly the other team said "no doubles"...

...I guess they thought it was too uber.

one of my teammates in a game yesterday during the massive bug said lets everybody goo all reg, we didn't do it though...I suck with reg in this game.

umm... you didnt already know that?

I have won with Reg+TB+UB but against not really good players. But decent enough.

Also: from what i saw, Your opponents were UB+UB+Reg. That is unfair. Double is uber, especially when 2 beasts.

If you go Reg+Tb the third dg has to have a synergy of burst damage, because thats exactly what those 2 are good at. A stun would help too. Rook could work, so could Oak. The erebus in this game does a weird minion build and stacks health (instead of mana = very low synergy), and plays very defensive. This doesn't help vs erebus/beast. He also doesn't share the monks. You should try this again. The tele ganks worked quite nicely in the replay, you just lost map control to early.

Also, I'd get mines before tracking bug as a regulus. A good player will always have a pot or tele scroll to avoid tracking on low life. You wan't maximum burst for your tele ganks.

Yeah double the 2nd worst demigod and you get super suck. We couldn't want that.

I'm betting on the erebus's because if they all go minion then they just have priets to heal up. I say priests make the game too much. It shouldn't be that you can have an all general team and do just fine while an all assassin team fails just because they lack priests.

You are both stoned as hell. Or drunk. Or both i dont know. This game is awesome just because you can choose to go a minion build with a general or play him like an assasin. I assume that heavenlysynn got pwned by a minion erebus thats why he is saying this.

Just imagine you are 1 of the 3 erebus and 2 beasts teleport to a flag near you. u are about to bat swarm away and the 1 beast grasps you. 2 seconds stunned. the other auto attacks and spits and immediately grasps you too. 2+2=4 sec stun, +2 spits + 2x ooze damage +the already fast aa from beasts = bye bye. you are dead. And if you are still having any doubt about this, lets say that the 3 erebus are winning. In the end it is all about cap locking portals and tp. Let me remind you that erebus has a 1 sec stun (mass charm), while beasts has a very quick stun (foul grasp). It is really hard for erebus to interrupt a lock with charm.

That said, 3 erebus vs 3 beasts = beasts win

Dude I was joking, oak (minion) is my second most used character after all, and I am actually starting to use mulch and shambler combo instead of what I regularly use and you really can't tell when someone is messing around can you?

I have said ample times on the forum that I prefer generals over assassins, so why would I want the ones I favor nerfed? Better yet why would I want the reasons I like them (minions, idols and the ability to build an army) taken away?

I was one of his opponents, and I must say they came VERY close to winnign and in my opnion they should have taken the game, since my teammates were I bunch of antisocial morons who had a tenedency to flag/tower dive and I ... well I died a few times with erebus against regulus and TB... yeah pretty bad. 

I hope we can play a rematch, because I played absolutely awful in that game.:-(

Beasts vs erebus would be funny: who's the OPest. =D

 

It will be pretty tight, on one hand erebus totally beats spit and their minions will destroy every tower. On the other hand Ub can  chainstun them to death. 

But ofc, erebus have triple bat+bite+masscharm, thats super stun aoe + bite is death. In the end I think erebus will beat UB because he can push better... but who knows, we should try out!

Erebus hand down just cause priests
Priests pretty much completely counters Snipe and early-mid game auto attack. With some good micro with the minions, Erebus can easily crush an careless Regulus.
