We played a total of 3 games but threw out the 1st.  1st game was an unfortunate disconnect for team erska about a min in.  I voted to throw it out as that's a pretty lame ass way to win.  2nd game was a little one sided in their favor.  Nothing too exciting.  3rd game was actually pretty good.  Me and Kalel as Sedna/Beast.  I chose a speed build sedna and was doing exceptionally well in countering them.  Definitely more fun than game 2 for me, anyway.  Wish I had a replay of game 3 now to see where things went downhill. 

Sadly, I was a bit pissed at the time and didn't snag a replay.  I'd bet either Erska or Sakke grabbed one, so hopefully they will post... not sure if Kalel grabbed one or not.  Oh well.  GG!  Finally official tally was 2v0 team erska FTW.

    You got creeps be4 the enemy did. that is why they totally outleveled you.

That is like the noobest thing ever. You practically gave them exp.

i'm not interested in moderating comments, but please create a new thread if you're not adding anything constructive here.

 

The second half of round 1 will be played tonight!  Winners will be posted and the brackets updated tomorrow!

 

I'm also happy to announce that the live streaming of the finals is 99% possible right now.  Need to tweak a few settings, but it will rock and you all can watch the match live or at your leisure!!

 

@ CynicalCharm -  There wasnt enough sponsor interest to launch both tournaments at once, so we opted for the 2v2.  Mind bogglingly (it might be a word) there wasnt enough player interest in a free tournament that gives out real prizes from the community to fill out a 32 team brackets like we originally intended.  Thus, without sponsor interest and without community interest the 3v3 is going to be indefinitely delayed.  If the community bounces back and it looks as though a 3v3 tourny will be a viable option, then im definitely interested in running that tournament.

that MIGHT be because of the way the tournament registration was handled as well as the delay of the tournament.  I know of at least 2 teams that are not on the list who signed up.

Will be opening a new post for Round 2 when i get home and make the fancy brackets in photoshop. Congrats to all teams who advanced, and condolences to teams who did not!

 

@RAWR -  the complaint that teams who signed up didnt get entered: fail by me for one of them.  I went back to double check and make sure that there wasnt any email received, so that i could flame you, but i was wrong. 

I really really apologize to Shade & Trousersnake69. 

I actually had an email from Shade, properly formatted and everything, but i missed it, maybe its b/c you used lagwarriors as the team name and i mentally filtered it out, but it was the last one i received so it should've been at the top of the pile and an easy entry.  I dont know what happened, and i have no excuse on that one, and i apologize.

 

but after going through my inbox thorougly searching for registration emails, i can confidently say that Lagwarriors is the only team that did not make it into the tourny who signed up, which i again apologize for b/c i had made an exception so Shade could get a partner :(
