This is second half of the shack news interview with Brad. The last bit is pretty funny.

Got picked up by Kotaku too, http://kotaku.com/5373331/stardock-boss-hauls-off-on-games-for-windows-live.
I love that they start off the whole article with a comment on Brad's "defense" of Glenn Beck. That's some "good" "reporting" from a "serious" news source.
Well, I wouldn't say I'm giving GFWL the finger. I love the general concept. I just think MS needs to decide and soon what they want their business model to be.
/so ferociously missing the old Watch This Post function.../
Hey Brad if you wont... I WILL! ![]()
Yea the whole paying for a quick patch thing you mentioned is BS.
GFWL has to be the worst program I've ever used. I think MS's busisness model should just be aborting the whole program. I use to play DoW2 all the time, but I became so aggravated with GFWL I ditched the game... which sucks because DoW2 was fun. Half the time it would not patch correctly, the other slight half GFWL would conflict with the game resulting in waiting for a new patch, and the remainder of the pie chart is dedicated to a small sliver of me actually playing the game online.
I know a lot of that could be on my end, but when I contacted support... well, let's just say they would force me to change my opinion on the idea of death panels.
What really pisses me off about GFWL is the fact that I have to log into a profile to play a game. Same with consoles now. There is no just pop the game in (especially single player stuff) and just play. I have to have a profile, sometimes create a profile within the game on my profile. It is just rediculous.
