Mod-triggered desynch handling?

Frogboy had a dev jounral over here http://forums.demigodthegame.com/364282 where he went over some of the new content that will be in build 1.19.  Anyone know what mod-triggered desynch handling is?  Just curious.  Wonder if this is something that will help resolve the desync problems.  Thanks!

Currently, if you have modded one of your lua file and the other players didn“t, the game will desync. Maybe this new feature will first look, what did get changed and decides then, if it will desync (something like that).

Possibly this is in response to those people who can cause a desync to happen at will in order to avoid a loss?

As Nokthra said, differences in files between host-client will caues desyncs, which, if you're going to officially support modding, obviously has to be addressed. Some people will get xxx mods, some people will get yyy mods, 2 people will have zzz mods lol, so the game needs to be able to decide what to use, and that the clients have matching files.

It was one of the reasons we're doing the public overhaul mod, to give everyone a common "base" to work with.
