Idol summon/skill activation

Why, when you summon idols, use skills like bite, fireball, spit, pentinence etc, does your demigod:

1. stop and cancel previous move orders, particuarlly annoying when summoning idols, generals on the run will cancel their move order and just stand there after summoning often to die because they havent realised are no longer moving.

2. loose lock on target, even if your using one of those skills on the target (ie you will not continue to chase and AA)

Surely it would not require alot of scripting to make the demigods continue their previous orders after using skills such as these, and i am annoyed at how many times i have lost a kill or been killed due to the above.

Another fix would be to allow demigods to cast on the run and prevent them stopping altogether when casting.

Anyone else frustrated with this?

r u talking about when u use wand of speed for example and ur near enemies, u stop then have to order ur character to mave again? coz if u r then that def needs a fix. weve asked for it to be fixed b4 but it still hasnt happened.

stuff that says "instant" cast should not stop the order u have requested prior activation of the INSTANT item. I hate either chasin or fleeing with wand of speed coz it either gets u killed or fall behind ur kill due to the stupid stopping.

Wand is one of many examples.

I dont mind stopping to cast, i understand why it is like that atm and i am not suggesting that casting while moving should be allowed (although that would make for interesting gameplay), just that if you cast a spell, your demigod should then resume his previous order (ie continue to run away/chase), not just stop in the middle of nowhere like they do atm.

They have? I just used WOS in a game recently and I still have to spam click to resume the previous order or else my DG stops and begins AAing or just stands there.

 

EDIT: Qot's form change is the only instant that I'm aware of that doesn't interrupt the last command.

as far as i know this is correct, tho i would be happy for someone to prove me wrong.

 

note: if qot can change form while moving why cant TB?

im pretty sure ur mistaken... wand interrupts ur movement if u ARE in range of any enemies. If you are not within range of enemies, your demigod will not pause for a cigar.
