Other Sites Like Drudge Report?

I was recently looking through Drudge and I found that it was wayyyyyy too conservative for me.

I need some alternative "Linking Sites" with a different point of view.

Looked on blogger, found this: http://thebanneronline.blogspot.com/

Tell Me if you Find more!

I have a lefty friend who kinda likes The Huffington Post. It mostly looks as trashy and superficial as Drudge to me, but whatever.

Personally, I think you're better off finding a variety of 'professional' writers whose stuff still gets a tad of editing and fact-checking. They used to call the things newspapers. Right now, I check in daily with three nationals and my local rag, and I take occasional peeks at other outlets, all the while trying as best I can to avoid direct contact with the b*ogosphere. Objective journalism is a myth, but professionalism isn't, and the budgets out in b*og-land are generally not fat enough to support luxuries like someone checking your draft post for ugliness, ignorance, or outright lies.

Thanks, I do normally read the New York Times on and off line. Thats really it. Along with the before-mentioned blog and Drudge Report.

Glenn Greenwald works for Salon and he's usually got some pretty interesting stuff to say.

Real Clear Politics is a great resource, beloved by many on both sides of the aisle (and a staple at the office of the Congressman I worked for).

It's not a news site per se, rather a hub for Op/Ed articles, press releases, and such.
