Human emotions and psychology might explain why but does it matter WHY? I mean if you know WHY a hot girl has fun with watersports does that make it rational and acceptable to you?

They are masters of reductio ad absurdum, drivel it is definitely not.  I would advise you read behind the lines and not take everything at face value.

I am honestly frightened by people that look at parody and take it at face value.  It suggests either a lack of a sense of humour or lack of comprehension, both of which aren't exactly wanted attributes.

Nevertheless, the topics which ED discusses are, for the most part, real topics.  There ARE people who sincerely believe that they are vampires and must embibe the spiritual essence of other human beings to survive.  That ED harpoons them with a burning spear of intense and vicious insults and flaming does not take away from the fact of their existence.

As for the question of "why"?

Well, if we did not ask the why of things, what would still be as yet undiscovered in the world?  The question "Why" makes for a part of the very foundation of what it is to be a human being.  To cease our constant questioning, to no long wonder "why" for anything... I'd rather be dead than live in such a world of simple and unwarranted contentment.

Indeed, why is my favourite question. But is the answer going to satisfy? I really dont know why people want to have thier nose twisted and tortured by a brizillian prostitute. I could find out - but I could find out a LOT of things, none of which I can be bothered to actualy really find out. Lately I spent hours refineing my knowladge on 3D maths, I cared about that.
