quick question on ads

I know that TV ads give an initial push to your national stance on an issue, but the weekly change they create is that on a national or state basis? The manual is not very helpful on this score. Also how is the national position on an issue measured? Has anyone also figured out how to read the bars that you see when you click on your canidates info? Supposed to be three bars one for your stance one for the states and one the nations I think but I can't figure out how to read it. Is it correct that the state media was removed? I never found it to begin with before or after the patch myself..

Radio and TV effect the issues nationally while newspapers only on a state level.

The weekly change is only for state basis. So having few newspaper can be a cheaper way to beat a TV ads in specific state, espeically issues are less national. For example, Alaska cares for oil drill but no other states care for that. It may be a good idea to post newpaper there.

I don't understand your question about national position. Are you talking about how Zoby Poll rates you? It rates you based on how many people believe in you. Not by states.

I never figure out the bars thing neither.

Yes, the state media (street interview) are removed. The national ones are still there, of course.
