Out of curiosity, what's the typical drop in startup simspeed from 2v2's to 5v5s? I assume there is one, provided it might be somewhat small...

Having to waste a lot of time because of that 1 guy who ruins an otherwise good matchup because he's using a 300$ computer ruins the experience for 5 others, or  7 other people like in this match in Leviathan earlier today.

Sure I can sympathise with people who are less fortunate but that doesn't mean they can just fuck it up for everyone.

I've almost never seen someone with a simspeed lower than 4, are they common?

I've played with a 1.8GHZ laptop with an 8600 mobile without issue in 3v3 Cataract, so if your desktop is unable to handle the game its going to need to be well under $300. You can buy a good cpu for $100, graphics card like a 4850, 2gb of ddr2 and a cheap mobo for ~$300 without too much issue I think.

And yes I'm going to discriminate against people with poor simspeed, just like I discriminate against rage quitters and any other brand of tard that joins my game. They go on my list of people that ruin the game for me, and I don't let them play with me again.
