Is there an easy way to see general minions?

One big problem I am having when I play as general is that It is difficult to see you own units in the mess of the battle, especially it is diffecult to see their health and how many units I have. Is there any way to see them as icons, or just to see health bars?

You can press "~" twice and it will show all health bars for everything IIRC. I don't know of a way to only see your minions health bars.
