NGGHGHH. NEGATIVE FAVOR POINTS.

Yup, I'm dealing with -715 or something like that.

Not only that, but all my items I've previously purchased but one.... GONE!!!

So the only item I have to choose from is the 800 life 5per second recover.  Which granted is at least a good item, but I cant express how fustrating it is to not only lose items you've previoulsy purchased but then to be in a huge NEGATIVE balance.

This really... really should have been fixed before being allowed to ship, imo.

kinda makes pantheon pointless

I'm pissed.  I want stardock to give me my points back.  They have my 40 bucks.

There is a file in mydocuments which stores the information. Try backing it up, as it is the file that stores the achievements/favour.

I'll be sure to back it up now that I have -590 fp.

Sorry for the noob question. So favor points are the persistant aspect of the game? In the pantheon everyone works for that side to win the overall tournament for either side, right? How are they awarded? And when do the pantheons end - when one team wins or a timer? Also can you switch sides after a pantheon is over?

Sorry for the questions, and to slightly hijack the thread but its related. So far i've barely got any But I've only played 3-4 matches. Have to say if i'm working towards an item and this happens I'd be feeling the rage right about now.

Favour points is the persistant aspect of the game, yes. You spend them to buy special type of items.

Yes, in Pantheon you work for one side (light or dark). Based on win/loss, again, it gives favour points to people. As per awards, something cool may be introduced soon after the connectivity issue is traightened out.

The patheonds end when one side reaches the 100% mark.

After pantheon is over, you can switch sides, however during the process of pantheon you cannot.

Pantheon is a global "ranked" version of demigod, aimed at competing between the sides of light and dark.

Each "round" of pantheon is called an "epoch" and whenever a side wins by getting the allotted favor points, something happens.  Who knows?

Favor points are points you get from winning that you can buy permanent trinkets with.  You get them by playing online.

Yes, those negative points aren´t really good (had them myself, too). But the devs are aware of this bug and are hunting it

That pool is only for multiplayer LAN games.  It does not effect online Skirmish, Pantheon or Custom games.

So once you get negative you're pretty much screwed. 

The one thing you can do is go and play custom games:

• Play against a single easy computer.
• Set your starting level to 20.
• Set starting gold to fithy rich.
• Starting war ranking to very high

Basicly max out everything.  Win over an over Vs the AI till you're out of negative and have your points and items that you purchased back.

WARNING:  I've done this once (did not cheat just got the items I had purchased previously back) and then after playing some more BAM!!!!

Back to negative favor, and all my items previoulsy purchases LOST but one.  So frankly I don't think it's worth my time to dig myself out of the hole again or to get back the items I should have. 

This for me is a huge sore point, if you're going to have persistant items in your game, they need to be accurate! Losses should not occure.  While World of Warcraft had connection issues, I don't think I've ever lost an item or gold in my 4 years of playing!

Yeah, I'll agree real hard on that one.  Being able to play seamlessly (and quickly) is pretty important not only for US, but for Stardock as well-- we both want to see their game off into the future.

I suppose they'll come back.

I've also noticed that when you've got your one item, purchasing it at the start of the game does not cost you any gold.

yeah, that's how it works.

I did the fix and it went negative again and i lost all my items lmao.

I don't think it's suppose to cost any gold... I think the gold icon is miss placed and really it should be a "favor" icon as it's just listing the cost in favor.

It's very very confusing that they use a gold icon IMO, and it should be changed to a Favor Icon.

(Unless it's suppose to cost gold, in which case you're right and it's currently not).

aren't the negative favor point more related to a loss? I didn't spend any of them but today i lost all of my achievments and thus my favor point

achievements and / or favor are related to each others, basically, i'd say it's supposed to be saved to your acount on the server, but it doesn't for any reason, and then since it cannot record, it resets to basic, yet having bought an item seems not to go with FP / achievements, since even when negative points comes up, your items stays there and one more thing, the negative points seems to be the cost of the item you bought

No as i've won all my pantheon games yet my favor points are still fubared. (It only has my counted as buying furious blade...)
