So, I am liking the game well enough so far, but the match finder sucks.

You can't chat with people while searching for a match. Okay, I guess

this is all p2p, so, no chat room... okay... guess what? you need a chat room.

 

also, I can't chat with the people I am connecting to? And I can't do anything else?

I can just sit and stare at the screen for however many minutes it takes for the service

to finally match me into a game?

 

did you hire the frustration fairie when you designed the matchmaker?

 

please, let's clear these issues up pronto!

 

no one likes a game that takes over their computer and makes them sit and wait

for an indeterminate amount of time for something to happen, maybe.

Heh, i just get "Attempt to join game failed" 90% of the time.

At least you get to watch it "connecting", reason to be cheerful no? :)

Am sure they'll work things out.

yeah it does seem to be taking awhile. Im connected to 3 people but we are still waiting for more. Guess this will change in the comming weeks when more people are playing

Just wait for the game to actually launch... so there are more people to attempt to connect with, it should shorten the time drastically.  Have faith. :)

Oh, I am sure that the wait time will decrease... For a while. That was

not my issue however. The incredible klunkiness of the matchmaker

is my issue, and I think it is a fair and reasonable one.

Indeed, from what I've been able to play, this game is very fun, and it's amazing, but it could be the greatest game ever, if I can't play online then it's the biggest tease!  I've been trying all day and only got into 1 game of Pantheon after constant trying. That one game was awesome.
