Me too. Same window pops up. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

(touch wood) I have never had ANY problems with sins/Entrenchment, no minidumps, hanging no problems with downloads, Anything. And i'm running a pretty basic machine.

Dual core E1200 at 1.6

2GB Corsair RAM

Nvidia 9500GT 512mb

Vista home premium 32bit.

I also have the latest updates for my machine and for SINS/ENtrenchment. The only thing that won't work is the forge. Not a major problem as i was only interested to see what it could do but i'd still like to look at it and have a go.

IronClad is aware of the Galaxy Forge not working for the first final release of Entrenchment, and they are working on it. If you want more information,  contact support@ironcladgames.com

Thanks for the response, it is good to know they are working the issue.

Of course there are a few other bugs inside the game but from what i read recently the new patch, to be release this week, will address some of the bugs i have noticed, like AI giving up for no reason!!!

Here is a work around that another user posted, not sure how well this works, but it may be worth a try;

Galaxy Forge work around;
Essentially, it would appear that SoaSE 1.15 does not need all of those normal & quick entries in the .galaxy file...just the "normal" ones.  So, "fixing" the old map becomes a 3 step process for me that doesn't require anything but notepad and takes all of 3 minutes if you can type and have a decent rig.

Assuming you've opened your .galaxy file in notepad, perform the following:

1 - Manually edit the version number to "3".
2 - Use the "Edit" menu to open the "Replace" function.  Find what: homePlanetUpgrade, Replace with: normalStartHomePlanetUpgrade.  You can either replace the 5 occurrences individually or use Replace All to kill 'em all with one click.
3 - Again in the replace window, Find what: startingUpgradeLevel, Replace with: normalStartUpgradeLevel.  This is the longer one, and it will take a bit to replace them all if you have a ginormous map or a slower rig.

Save the changes and load 'er up.

I tried this and it works fine for me.  Thanks for passing it on.
