Are the update problems fixed for good?

What I mean is that whenever the next 2.x update is released and put on Impulse will everyone (Original game, EU, UE, downloaded, US Disks, EU / Kalypso Discs) be able to upgrade straight away or will there be the same delays.

Hopefully, though from here on out any further updates will probably be pretty minor (Brad plans to keep tweaking and balancing as he plays). Patch 2.0 is the last big one for GC2 though, as most of the team is now on to other projects.
