Hey all,

 

I was wondering if some of the old group from Beta 1 wanted to get together and play a couple of games.  I thought maybe we could co-ordinate something.  I was thinking:

Sunday
12 Noon EST

If you were active in Beta 1 and wanna game with some of the "old" bunch, please post so I can guage interest.  I was thinking of setting up a mini-tourney for the following week if we get a decent tournout.

but i would suggest 3v3, sinc eits doable, and also the fact that we a stuck on a single 3v3 map

5v5 on this small map + possible connection issues would be annoying i think

I think it would be great to get a 5v5 going, just to see if we can.  I am sure most games will be 3v3 or 4v4.

Trig.... why do you always have to offer these stupid matched when not everyone can play? I'm FORCED to sit on the side lines because GPG thought I was just kidding about the bugs I've been having. They've been over looking the issue.

OKnight - to be fair, Trigeminal only brought this out again because I necro'd -

I'm sure it is very frustrating to be in your shoes, but have faith - I played a quick game with Fire_Ice last night and he had been unable to connect to any games for months before that.  HorseRadish was bugged out of entire previous Betas. 

Your issues will be resolved in time and I'm sure there will be oldtimers' matches to come...:beer:

I vote no rules, as it's a friendly set of games and it doesn't matter who wins, imo.  Also, if we get enough players and netluck for a 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 it would be nice to determine what really needs help or balance, which we can't do if the strongest items, DGs, and builds are banned or restricted ^^

Yes, Wag & flurus v 5.  You can choose any demigod as long as it is QOT and you can't buy any items, everyone else can do whatever they want. ;P

LOl think about your rules. we r talkin 5v5. there is only 8 demigod. (but ok for 4v4)

Also should be no predetermined teams.  If it is going to be a 3 v3 then draft in IRC that way teams will be more random and that way it might be more balanced and interesting

Since connections arn't perfect I suggest that when u join game u stay were ever u were when joined. Completely random. I think thats fair.

If we're just going to have a lot of successive large games, we can go either random teams or set teams. But if we wanted anyone to join in on this, I think it's best that we do random teams instead of team captains or something which basically means playing favorites.

only thing im negative about this tournament is that there is a LOT of bug and some are verry problematic for tournament such as the War Rank Bug.

Im in BUT I still think we should wait beta 3 for this.
