Can you mass-upgrade one type of ship to the next generation?

Hi,

After reading "Mass-buying improvements and ships" I got this question.... Can you mass-upgrade one type of ship to the next level? For example I usually upgrade my ships with new gen weapons and shield and designate the ship designs with MkI, MkII etc. How can I upgrade all MkI's to MkII's at once?

In CivIV this is possible, would be great if this could be done in GalCiv2!

In the upgrade screen, simply check "Upgrade all ships of this type". It's the checkbox directly above the list of new shiptypes...

urgh... i feel so stupid.... never saw that!

thx! ....I was upgrading 50 ships manually....
