As my copy of Galactic Civilizations was the Ultimate Edition, it came with Altarian Prophecy exspansion on the disk. As the disk has one registration code what do I put in the Altarian Prophecy Serial Number slot? I used the same code as GC, being the same disk, but it says I can not update as the code is invalid. Any ideas?
I'm having the same issue. Purchased a new copy of GalCiv Ultimate in a jewel case from Target several months ago. Stardock Central allows me to update both, but doesn't seem to have the latest updates available. Impulse allows me to update GalCiv, but complains about my serial key when I try to update Altarian Prophecy.
I also ran into this issue with my Ultimate Edition...

For serial number troubles you will have to contact support@stardock.com. The reason is you cannot post account information or serial numbers on the public forums. We will get the issue sorted out for you as soon as possible.
I contacted the supplied e-mail address on 11/05/2008. No solution, yet.

And here I was digging through boxes for the past 30 minutes looking for the jewel case to see if I missed the code. I should have came here first. I have the Ultimate Edition as well and there is only one code on the case.
The Ultimate edition of GalCiv2 is not yet available through Impulse. We are hoping to have all versions of the software available this week provided they stage and load correctly in all languages. My apologies for the wait. Please try again later this week to see if it has been made available. If you like you can send me your serial number so I can manually set it up from this end to save you time.
The Ultimate edition of GalCiv1 is, of course. If you are having troubles with those serial numbers you will need to contact support@stardock.com as none of the account information can be posted here.
I am having the same problem. The Ultimate Edition is available. How do I get my key switched over? Or do I have to email my info to Stardock?
You will need to email it into support@stardock.com so that we can look at the account information. Private information like that cannot be shared on the forums for obvious reasons of course.
Please note that the Ultimate edition is still not available for download through Impulse. We can attach your serial number to your account for you manually so that we can save you time in the future once the game becomes a possible download through Impulse if you like. Sorry for the wait.
I cheated. GalCiv Ultimate is only $3.99 so I bought that and applied the code to the Altarian expansion. Thanks!
That would be GalCiv1 then and you should be fine. GalCiv2 is still pending for the Ultimate version.
No, Galactic Civilization Ultimate not available just Galactic Civilization II Ultimate is. I wish this would get fixed.
