Getting StarDock Central to install properly.

I just bought the bundle package (download) and installed Stardock Central. I have no problem telling it do download and install.. only that it installs in a really, really retarded and downright WRONG directory.
When I ask it to install, it asks me if I want to install all of bla bla bla components, I press yes, it downloads and installs.. and creates a bloody mess.
How do I download the game so I can store it for myself (so that when Stardock dies, global communications goes down or I have to go into hiding due to political repressions, I can still get it installed - after all, I paid for it)?
Right now, this is all completely useless to me.
