You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

Hey GmOOnii, my prime character is a Cylon though from the old series. Loved to watch that as a child, that was sci-fi to the core. I think in the new series he became the model #1, which is a great character, too.

KP, creating multiple profiles and using these characters then to submit games might be completely contra-productive in terms of reaching higher ranks.... I can only think of faking a new identity and (......) which is a spineless & treacherous.

Does anyone know for what the desktop-image is for? Uploaded one, thought it might be a background-image for the MV-profile - but didn´t do anything, and the link to the info-file is also broken....

My Charakter Karacho just joined the Kzinti Empire.

He is human. He is a leader. He is not dumb.

The human empire in this part of the galaxy is a dying race. So Karacho joined the Kzinti to save his people.

Karacho will be a human leader i think most of the time, if not all the time. Sometimes he seems to be all good, sometimes evil. But he is loyal to the Kzinti. So even if he makes a decision that seems to make no sense other than being "good" - he maybe did that decision so that everybody just THINKS he is good. The same i could say about him being "evil".

Karacho and his followers where somehow lost in the universe. Now they are the first time part of something. Something big.

The validation email from the galactic core doesnt reach my email service, i even let it resend it, and i changed my adress to yahoo, i let it resend again.

no validation email came to either one, so i have no access to the Kzinti forum there. help plz.

I never did figure out what the desktop image is for...  I am a fan of both the new and old BSG, with the newer version being my favorite sci-fi series of all time.  Then ending was strange, and for a while I couldnt decide if I liked it, but I eventually decided it was good, mainly because it was unsusual, and kept me still thinking and wondering.  There were some completely improbable parts about it, but I still iked it.

Welcome sikaracho! :D  Humans are welcome if they follow the ways of living Heroically.  The Kzinti have learned that Heroes can come in many forms and sizes...most of them quite delicious. ;)

I will validate you at the Core right now, so you should be set in just a minute or two.

Gmooni, Rome: Total War is defintely one of my favorite games.  Sounds like you are kicking their arses all over the place!  Did you try any of the other games in the series?  Medieval 2, Empire, etc.

Same here. I remember one summer I had 3 months completely when I was recovering from a serious illness, I used to play from 9 AM - 6 PM, with just a few breaks thrown in. This continued for nearly 90 days, except for a few well deserved outings. I didn't tire of that game. It might very well be the game I have played the most. Simply awesome! The CDs are scratched beyond redemption now though :(

Well, in case of BSG I don´t know it for fact, but most series end too early because of missing viewers, and the storylines can´t be finished correctly in time....

After playing this game for almost 3 years now (my word, 3 years), I've decided to try something different. I'm not going to play for score. I'm going to play to see how long I can keep a balance. I want to try to keep the 9 AIs and 8 minors around as long as I can. Some of my goals are trying to keep all AIs alive for 10 game years, generating very high experience fleets, letting 1 minor expand by giving him a secondary star system. 

My first attempt is a lot of fun so far. I'm playing TA Thalans for the first time. It's a very crowded medium map. I hold 25 colonies out of what looks like 100. I'm trying to stay with that many. Not expanding my influence. Giving planets to AIs with weaker positions. Selling them ships if their navies are too small. Stopping wars between the weak vs strong. It's a tricky balance and certainly a different way to play.

Did you try any of the other games in the series? Medieval 2, Empire, etc.

   Yes, I did like Medievel 2 but they were given to me and had crack files so that made the games pirated and so I didn't keep them.

   I am going to Singapore in January to buy some orginal games because most of the games here are pirated.  Would you like to give me some ideas on what to get??

Is there some wrong with character logos? The pictures are not showing up?

Yep, Beyond the Sword.  I have Colonization too, though I havent tried it yet.  Civ4 is very entertaining. :)  I played the original Colonization, but never liked it nearly as much as the main Civ series.

  I tried to re-uploading my character logos and it sticks when "processing data" comes up.

Ugh, that sounds like a bug. I just saw another post about that. Unfortunately, it is holiday time, so it probably won't be fixed until after that.

My character One Cold Canuck has just joined the Kzinti Empire.  I am very new to GalCiv 2, it's been a lot of fun so far!  I'm still figuring everything out.

I'm very much looking forward to conquering the galaxy with everyone here!

     A Kzinti civil war ends when the Usurper sends his ships into an energetic nebula, rather than face capture (Y116). The Usurper finds the nebula is hollow and sets up a government in the WYN Cluster.[4]

The General War
     In August Y168, the new war came. First the Lyrans and Klingons attack the Kzinti Hegemony, then the Hydrans attack them, in the understanding that they are the next target of the Lyran-Klingon Coalition. The Hydran capital falls (again), the Coalition assaults the Kzinti homeworld, and the Federation starts preparing to intervene :-" on behalf of the Kzintis.

  I did get My Empire logo and Saint Mina's logo to work but my other two still do not work. :(

Yes, I´m having some trouble, too. When I want to upload a new avatar it tells me to reduce size to 48*48px but in fact my current Avatar is bigger than that....strange

@ Maiden666,  Have you been to my Empire thread and read about my Empire from War Hammer 40k.

    I found the cap to the Life Support just like the Sensors.  I just need to write up the infomation with the screen shot.
