Kzinti Empire - offical empire thread

You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

"Kzinti flesh has a very strong and pungent taste. The weak among us are devoured by their litter-mates within a few moons of birthing. Only the swiftest and most ferocious of us survive to their first naming-day. Those not fit to survive will never live to perpetuate their inferior bloodlines. This is the natural law of the galaxy." - Kzinti Warrior

"The meaning of life is the hot blood of your prey on your tongue, the meat that rends beneath your teeth, the corpse of your enemy left in the sun for the carrion eaters to finish, your defeated foe groveling in submission before you. That is what life is. We are the Kzinti, and we stronger, swifter, wiser, and more ferocious than any other race ever was or will be." - Kzinti philosopher

If your claws can grasp it, then it is rightfully yours. - Kzinti proverb

A salute to all those heroic t'kzintar who have made this empire a resounding success. Our conquests continue and the galaxy will never know peace!

Barring that, an Autohotkey macro. Autohotkey.com

I haven't used key macros since Lotus.  Sounds good.  Do you use in Planet/Ship List, Civilization Manager or Colony Management?  Is it as fast as manual (ignoring lag)?  Do you activate in game with hotkey?

And....I always leave the squirrels in peace.  I enjoy looking at 'em.

KP is this one of your distant relatives?  Not even by marriage third removed (don't forget crazy Alice)?  Just politely drag him into the parking lot and shoot him in the head.  I could loan you a spare gauss rifle, but I think a BB gun is sufficient.

Stand down Jack. ;) KzintiKalralahr must have been on a long-term deep-cover misson among the foes of the Empire.

The two pics in the OP are pretty good representations of Kzinti warriors.

Now, on to the subject of Million Pointers in V2.03. I have *Finally* managed to break the barrier by building most of the ships instead of rush-buying them. I now have a PLAN for tweaking my tactic. We'll see how it works.

People with ideas are bad enough but those with a PLAN are just plain dangerous.

BEHOLD! The new Kzinti Hover tank. Currently under tests at the Karos Fireing Ranges, projected to be used when the Tourch Bearers break the four year truce.

Aha, so he is a relative! :D   Far be it from me to stifle artistic endeavors.

Thanks!!! I was waiting for the 2.03 "patch" in hopes that less clicking would be involved. I still stand amazed at anyone who attempts a Million Pointer in DL or DA.

Yah, you assign a key(combo) of choice.

A simple example to chain-rushbuy the first item on the colony list would be

Code
  1. End::
  2. Loop
  3. {
  4. Sleep 10
  5. GetKeyState, EndButtonState, End, P
  6. if EndButtonState = U
  7. break
  8. Send, x
  9. MouseClick, left,  690,  612
  10. Sleep, 50
  11. MouseClick, left,  465,  680
  12. Sleep, 50
  13. MouseClick, left,  620,  599
  14. Sleep, 50
  15. }

The code is looped until the key (End) is released again.

The actual mouse clicks and/or keys can be recorded automatically.  Just insert waits depending on the lag situation of whatever you're trying to do.

This autohotkey is just fucking AWESOME!!!! Now I can do all the things that used to KILL my deflicted wrist with the push of one of 12 special buttons on my gaming keyboard!

Rush-buy 500 ships on the longest lease? NO FUCKING PROBLEM!

Assign Planetary Governors to 300 planets? NO FUCKING PROBLEM!

There's no telling what else I can figure out, either.

It is, indeed.

He is, indeed.

Here's something interesting. I just found out the hard way that I cannot submit my game because I changed my username. I'll have to change it back and hope I don't get flagged.

Edit:

I think I'll just keep the old name a while longer. It seems that The Plan has promise. If I had bothered to build over all the industrial and research buildings, this would have flirted with another Million Point Score.
