Help with a Stardock Download

I upgraded one of my older computers, and it didn't have the latest version of DA, but when I went to Stardock Central, I must have accidentally loaded some additional patch, maybe the German thing? About half the planet names are in some other language, and in all lower case letters, its very annoying. Earth is labeled as "Paramount" I think. The Wardell system, for example, has planet names like "tenua" or "lilnutte", with umlauts over all the vowels. How would one uninstall that?

That's pretty odd--you can't get the localized files by accident (they require the language registry key set at install). You haven't used any mods?

Not on that computer, no mods. Should I run a debug, or take a screenshot? I can post it, its very strange.

The debug is worth a shot, it'll at least tell what language the game thinks it's using.

Hm. Says it's using English. Are you playing the campaign, or a custom map or scenario? Normally non-home systems (such as Wardell) shouldn't have any name but Wardell I, Wardell II, etc.

Only thing different is I put it on Battle of the Gods. Does that change the planet names? Never did before
