Yep, after 35 years I finally got one. And you know what? I'm going to participate, if I can come up with the extra cash I need to invest. Here's my idea:

Don't be so STUPID!

Get a real job and make your own d*^n money!

If I'm feeling really generous I'll tape two pennies to each one.

I can't believe people fall for this crap. The only people making money on this scam are the ones that sell the preprinted address labels to the tune of $45 for 200. They're probably the ones that started the stupid chain letter in the first place. Talk about a business plan.

We even have legislation to protect them from themselves with this sort of thing, but wonder of wonders... it still infects the stupid.

I just received one last week from a good friend in another state.  Heh.

But she is not always discerning when it comes to things like this...she's not stupid so much as too trusting.
