I still cannot find the parade?

Hi
After seeing a post recently regarding the 'dreadlords on parade' scinerio, i thought i would just try it one more time.

Still no 'parade'? another flop, i think i killed 2 dreadlord ships the whole game.

This time i tried keeping the other races starved of techs. By the end of the game they still had ships with firepower of like 3 or 4 each.

Why am i still unable to get any action out of this scinario?

Try a larger map size? Give the DLs more time to build up?

I tried a huge map with abundant planets, allowing intensive algorithums and set to 'cripling'. Didn't work.

But is their anyone who has figured out some definate game settings that really get the dreadlords moving?
