No More Enemy Civ Communication Popups?

Hi all, just wondering if someone could answer this for me. But I recently upgraded to the latest patch of the game (1.4 I think) and I noticed I no longer get those hated communications from other civs that say things like, "You're kicking our behinds so we're giving our planets to some other guy!" or, "I know what you're doing, and if my intelligence level was set higher I would do something about it!"

Where'd they go? Am I never going to see this..

Not sure whats up with that, I have to depend on the GNN to see who surrenders or declares war now.

Its a known bug from the `1.4 patch. Brad has said the will fix it when they are done with DA.
