How do i questions...

Hi
how do i auto launch ships? There used to be a check box in galciv 1 but it seems to have vanished in galciv 2?? It is driving me insane having to manually launch all my ships, please help!!!!

Also is it possible to move a stack of ships all at once? I mean not just fleets but all the units in one square? I want them to move all at once, not this slow one at a time thingy that happens whenever i sellect a heap of ships and try to move them! This is another thing i was able to do in galciv 1.

Ok now here is a critical question... somthing that never ceases to drive me insane is the constant activation of my ships on 'sentry' duty, even allied ships activate them!!!! How can i set my ships on sentry duty to only activate when um lets see, actual 'enemy' ships appear??? Meanwhile parked AI scouts and trade routs makes the 'sentry' feature practically obselete.

Right-click the blue icon for auto launch/center

The fleet system I think, replaced the moveable stacks.

The sentry system has always done this to me too, so I stopped using it.

Hope that answers some of your ?

You can also auto launch all ships built in the last turn. Look for a little blue square below where the ship completion icons pop up.

What menue is it in, what other options are near it? what is below it? above it, beside it?

RHS of screen. When a ship is completed a blue icon will pop up. If you right click on that it will auto launch the ship and center your screen on that ship with that ship selected. Directly below these icons you will see 2 small icons. one red and one blue. The red will clear all the completion pop up icons on the RHS of the screen. The blue will launch every ship that was completed that turn. You will find all of this on the main screen.

Not to sound like an ass but the tutorial covers a lot of stuff you are probably trying to figure out.

Well tutorials are useful of course but just to find one or two pieces of information, it is overkill.

only if you use all the movement points, and only if all the ships have the same speed - otherwise it will stall on every faster ship.
The only real option so far to move allot of ships is to stuff around creating lots of small fleets.
