Multiplay /Hotseat

I read somewhere that you can Hotseat this game is that possible? I would very much like to be able to have my brother and me play the same game. Even if it means sharing the same computer.

The only hotseat available is not really the genuine article--it involves using a cheat code to change the player to one of the other races in a game (and it really doesn't work very well that I've heard). It's not an actual multiplayer feature, just a way to sort of fake one.
