V1.11 bug re starbase numbers?

Game says I can have 21 starbases or so based on my logistics. But it lets me build unlimited numbers beyond that. Is it a bug?

Not a bug. You can build as many starbases as you want, but after a certain point you have to start paying for them. This payment is based on the number of starbases you currently own and your logistical ability.

The fact that you're paying for them is not nearly as noticeable as it was in GCI, I didn't even notice it for several games.
