Can I install and activate the 1.1 elsewhere?

Greetings,

I have just recieved my copy from www.gameexpres.cz I can see the serial number on CD2. I put it in when installing. I have downloaded the 1.1 patch but it now wants an email and serial number. Can I use a different PC (at work) to install and activate the game and then somehow play it at home? To be honest I bought this game because of no Starforce, but it seems to cause troubles nevertheless. Oh and one more question. How am I suppose to tell what is O and what is 0 (zero). I think I have found O to be slightly different, but again, next time try not to use O and 0 togehter please!

nobody can help me? Can I install the game elsewhere and register it? Or shall I just send an registration email from work? PELASE HELP, I WANT TO PLAY.

Unfortunately not. I have a Paradox logo on the box, but the code there does not start with GC2-

Basicaly I have the code but not inet. So I would like to install the game at work and register it from there. But I do not know if it will work if I just copy the file and bring it home.

There should be a serial number on the disc cover (28 alphanumerics on mine). It does not start with GC2, that is the collectors edition serial and will not work. Use the email you originally signed up with and the serial from the disc case and you can do it in multiple places. I am not advocating piracy, just that you can have more than one install. I have it on my laptop and desktop.

Yes, multiple places. But I do not have inet connection at home. Can I bring the activation file home? And which file do I need to take home? And to make things worse, one letter is something between 0 an O. I do not why they use so similar letters and numbers. They should at least use a different format for zero.

EDIT: So I activated it here at work directly. Is it O.K.? Can I copy the sig.bin and brong it home? Or have I made a fatal error. Can someone please help me? These forums have not been much of a help for me so far.
