1.1 beta - overboard w/ AI changes?

I just finished a game vs new "new+improved" terran AI.... boy they're WAY better. However, I think that for the scripts that choose the AI's techs, ya'll at Stardock may have gone a bit overboard. For example, while I was getting spanked all around by crazy battleships with like 70 attack and 150 defense..... I could also just ignore them because the AI never got advanced troop mod.... or like.... any soldiering bonus......

A planet w/ 5000 pop could pretty much take on 5 invasion fleets, IF they came all at once.... Only a couple times did I see the AI have a higher bonus than me because it used a special attack like tidal disruptors. By the end, I had only lost about 4 planets to the AI, 2 of which i took back right away with quick buit transports from neighboring planets.

The new scripts for speed and stuff were ridiculous though, battleships with 12 speed are just scary........
I think if this were fixed up then I probably couldn't beat the AI at its best.... I had to turtle and get a tech victory....
