Iconian Refuge War

First off, it started by me paying the Torians, whom I was allied with, to attack the Iconians. I had 4 AI races in the game, I was allied with 3 of them, all but the Iconians. So I decided to kind of stay out of it all together, so I gave away a small fleet I had to the Torians. Thing is, my neighbor was the Iconians and they were a sector away. So when I gave the Torians ships, they would be right there and can attack the Iconians right away. I figured, why let my fleet just sit there, I should just go ahead and give the ships away, help the Torians anyway I could to fight the war and I can win asap.
I gave them all the ships I had. Then, on top of this, I purchased more just to give them away. I designed a special battleship just for them to fight this war. The "Louisiana" Class Battleship"...
Nothing special compared to the photos we been seeing around here lately, but it did get the job done.
I literally gave the Torians 4 of these and to make a long story short, they really put them to use, just as I had wanted them to. Eventually though, I was pulled into the war to honor my alliance, so I honored it and built a fleet of my own. The Torians took the 2nd the last world from Iconians, I had the pleasure of taking the very last one and winning the game! Needless to say, those massive battleships made the difference, not one of them were destroyed out of a total of 6 that I built. Each of my fleets had 1-2 battleships and several fighters.
