Space grown food

here's an expansion idea.

Would be kinda cool if there was a space station dedicated to growing food in space. could divy up its grown food between all planets under it's sphere of infulence.

Could get better modules going up the farm construction branch, or a new branch.

hmm.. it would be a good idea but what would you do with it.. i mean.. consider that you would need several hundred to grow any worthwhile food... . while it might be a good idea... if you think in reality you coulda used that space for more factories adn made more farms on your land..

It's an interesting idea, but I'd point out that in a way, this already exists - if you build an economic starbase, that increases the production and research of all planets in the area. This means, if you chose, you could reduce the number of production/research buildings on those planets and build farms instead.

Different means, same effect.
