Pre-1.0X Ships

I read that ships made prior to 1.0X are not compatible with the new update??? Is there any way to get them to work with the new patch? Obviously i have some intricate designs i don't remember blow by blow how to make.

Can i just change "Version=24" in the .shipcfg file to "Version=26" to make them work?

Ships from a saved game should work fine.

So just load up a saved game, mess with the design, then save it again.

phew that worked, i only had 1 or 2 unfinished designs that weren't used in a savegame, so oh well.

on the bright side this should not be a problem on any future updates.
