Congrats on the 300 mark, though, for what its worth.
What I've found out in the year I've been blogging here is that consistent quality keeps 'em coming back, and that quantity only works for a little while in its absence. |
When I first joined, I did not see myself writing a lot. I had heard about blogging, but figured I did not have a lot to say,so 300 articles is impressive to me. But I keep all of mine, and I appologize if that makes it hard to find one I did 6 months ago. But this is my records of my journey through life. 300 in 8 months is not a lot, at least I dont think so. It works out to about a little over 1 a day. Some Humor, some Questioning, a lot of Politics.
But I dont purge mine as it is a record of my thoughts over time. My diary so to speak. I am not a points whore and dont write for comments. Some of the best I have written have gotten NO responses or just one or 2. And that is fine. I write what I feel, not what I think others will agree with or not agree with and thus start a hot thread.
I do not know how many articles each of you have written, and I only mentioned Dharma as she had an article a week ago saying she was at 588, thus I am half way to her. And I thought a godo nature rivalry would help her at this time with her up coming surgery.
I would hope that no one reads my blog because it is me, but reads it for the content of the articles. I have noticed that some who read my humor, dont read my poltics, and that is fine. We each have our own likes and dislikes. And that is what makes each of our blogs unique to us. And to delete some, just because they were not popular, is to delete a part of us.
So I will keep mine, and hope that Brad's backups are working fine.
