Multiple windows cover taskbar

When I have a bunch of windows open on grouped icons (e.g. browser), when hovering over the icon, the width of the field (when there are a bunch), entirely covers the task bar instead of cutting off where the edge of the task bar is like everything else. I would think the overall pixel width would be reduced by however wide/slim you have set the task bar, but this seem to not be the case. I blacked out all of the open tabs, but that width is a problem because you cannot right click to open a new window/instance (a Quick Launch section would resolve this particular issue).

Also, is there a way for the list of open windows to present as a vertical list like in Win10 instead of a horizontal image for every open instance (which I would either Alt+Tab or Win+Tab to view the visual)?

Seems this can happen with the vertical taskbar, as in your picture. We now have this logged for review.

Adam, can you also have it auto-switch to a vertical text list of open window names instead of the image or is this a Windows more than Start11 thing? Windows 10 would switch between image to text which made it much easier to to switch between IMO........

Hi - any updates on this? I'd be happy to try out a beta version of a fix. I posted a similar issue a few weeks ago - https://forums.stardock.com/536822/page/1/ - and it's constantly frustrating because it does block my ability to click in the vertical taskbar.

It's irritating, but you can right click on the icon and it will pop the right option to open a new window after it initially displays the screenview that covers everything. My test license expired and I'm back to Windows 11 default bottom and the only time images are shown is if there are a smaller number of windows than the width, so that would be good if the Start11 did the same thing and would just convert to a list, outside the taskbar space - if it didn't wholly cover the bar i wouldn't mind it, but I agree, it's irritating......
