Just a heads up have sent in 3 or 4 auto submit reports on crashes that happen after hitting the done button on "Situation report" when you can't overcome the planet's defences (PS-defenses is spelt wrong).

To avoid the crash you have to hit done as quickly as possible. This is the only ingame crash that I've run across in the last 3 playthroughs. It creates a pretty awkward stream. The crash is usually 3-4 seconds after that screen appears.
