Greetings folks. I am deep in a 380 turn game in 1.5. I notice now there are some things I would like but not sure if its even possible to implement So here it goes.
I'd love a way to drag out the age of Ascension at end game. Usually on a gifted or normal game I am finishing those techs by the time the ai is getting Harpoon or disrupters. It would be interesting if there was a way to drag out victory well past AoE (age of ascension). It would be nice to meet one or two superpowers at or near my tech and production level to at this stage to play wit the fun tech toys for real (not just steam roll over all the existing factions).
Event triggers with adding new factions or 'gifting' events which bring a faction up to par with highest player? (tossing ideas here). I love all stages of GCIII but feel that by the time I got my latest and most awesome toys the point of the game is mop up and just expand. If a 'worthy' faction ai(s) showed up to extend the game well past AoE that would be a DLC I would pay 10 bux for!

I have loved Stardocks idea with rock/paper/scissors with weapons. It has worked out well. I would like to know if its possible to expand this idea. The player is awesome at designing fleets and ships. Eventually the ai will be using our designs against us.
What Id like is 5 of each attack and defense and here is why....
If you have 5 types and can ONLY fit at most 3 even on the most space worthy ship (make it so only 2 or 3 of any type could ever be equipped) then there will ALWAYS be a need to update and reconfigure ships in the field or field ships of various types of weapons.
I say this because as the player I typically design the most optimum ship that I use virtually during all play. With 5 types and only able to field 3 on any one ship this ensures that at least 2 or more factions will have weapons and such that I cannot counter. It is just a thought.....
And who doesn't want more toys?
