It seems like the game won't play. I have something like 189 races. I only play 99 opponents loaded from steam. Insane abundant everything except no pirate bases. Very slow research normal game pacing.
16 gigs of ram. 4th generalion I7 46 something integrated graphics no ssd. Windows 10
Any suggestions.

Thats a lot of races.... maybe tone it down a bit? try a 1v1. see if that works first.
Let's try running the game with some lower base settings to see if that resolves some of your issues.

I'm looking at my options this sounds like the correct category which one us it.
Replaced file why did mine say 119 players never tinkered with it.
Tried 1v1 everything rare it worked.
