Bugs found:
Starbase bonuses either don't work or don't show up, not sure which. Need to test further.. Approval star-base nodules didn't seem to have any effect at all.
Game keeps crashing, but i can still do things in the game after it crashes eg select different interface menus.
Music stops after a while sometimes and not others.
Game runs slower and slower as game goes on. Seemingly unrelated to the number of things that the game processes, just time-related.
As the game slows it has trouble loading hexes at the edges of the screen as though struggling to load everything at once.
Game is unstable when other applications are running in the background to the point where the game will freeze if a folder is open on the desktop or a music player etc..
Now and then when you colonise a planet the previous planet colonisation event will pop up momentarily, leaving some potential for undesirable results if the player clicks before the correct event pops up.
Zooming in and out problems. Game often freezes when you pan in/out, especially at game start/load.
Gameplay issues

AI offers seemingly too much for non-agression and exploration treaties, probably because I was the strongest player at the time. Too easy to manipulate to player advantage.
Ai does not expand quickly enough, offers little challenge and is passive due to player strength (normal difficulty).
Some galactic events are a bit too powerfull eg 50% effects when should never really be above 25%/33% imo.
AI dosent seem to take advantage of resource starbases (but they dont seem to work anyway).

All in all the game seems to be coming along very nicely. I will keep a close eye on this for fture patches and will play much more when the game nears release at about version 0.8 I think. There is still many features and fixes to implement but stardock are a great company and I'm sure that this game will be awesome on release.
