How do you pause the game using only the mouse? I found the speed up and slow down buttons,but I cannot find the pause button. The only thing I have found is to use the MENU button, which basically leaves the game. I want to pause and issue orders. This is frustrating for someone who either has no working keyboard or cannot use one. A little handicapped help would be nice.
Pause is a hotkey that can be set....from the main menu, click on options, then key bindings...in the third section called "Globals", there is "Toggle Paused"...select it, click "Add" in the top right, then click the mouse button you want to use...
This would be a fine solution, but it does not work for me. I tried mapping Pause to the left and right buttons and the mouse wheel (not at the same time!), but none of them worked. If only a Pause button had been included in the UI. Any more help?
Does your mouse wheel depress as a button in addition to scrolling? I was able to make my mouse wheel (as a button) a hotkey and it worked fine....
There are mouses with buttons on the left side (I've seen some with up to 3), if you had one of those it might work as well...
If your mouse has it's own software (like the Logitech Gaming Software) try mapping a mouse button to the Pause-Break key (default pause key for Sins). I know with the Logitech software you could manually select a key and not have to press it but I don't know about more current versions.
Yes, I have a Microsoft two button mouse with a scroll wheel that depresses. I mapped depressing the mouse wheel to Pause (shows as mouse_buttons:2), but in the game pushing the mouse wheel does not stop the game. What am I doing wrong?
